Hastelloy® Alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy that possess an exceptional combination of oxidation resistance and high temperature strength, while still being easy to fabricate.  Hastelloy® X alloy has also been found to be exceptionally resistant to stress-corrosion cracking in petro-chemical applications.  Hastelloy® X alloy exhibits good ductility after prolonged exposure at temperatures of 1200°, 1400°, and 1600° (650°, 760°, 870° Celsius) for up to 16,000 hours.

 Hastelloy® X alloy has wide use in the gas turbine engines for combustion zone components.  Hastelloy® X alloy is recommended for use in industrial furnace applications.  Hastelloy® X alloy is also used in the chemical process industry.
